On January 27 the Weenies celebrated their 7th birthday.
Here are a few photos taken at the celebration.
The birthday cake consisted of a fresh-baked
blueberry muffin, whipped cream, and two Dentastix
Where did the "cake" go?....
and where did Amber go?
Nothing left but crumbs!
Too Much Party?

A SMALL SPOT FOR THE OLD GUY
Sweet Reno is the oldest member of the "11-Pack".  He will turn 16
on July 19.  His last annual checkup in December revealed no problems
other than severe arthritis, and the fact that he is getting quite senile
and forgetful.  Some days he can hardly get up and walk and other
days he gets that burst of energy where there is no stopping him, as
in the following video.
Reno has a very good appetite for an old guy.  But....at times it
seems he has forgotten how to eat (or else he is very spoiled.)
Here is a photo of my friend, Cheryl, spoon-feeding Reno.  This has
now become a nightly ritual at our house.  Reno waits for me to sit
and feed him with a spoon.
Tucker has had his share of health problems over the last couple of
years.  But he has never stopped enjoying a good fight with the water
hose.  When my friend, Cheryl, was visiting us from Washington State
recently, she took this video of Tucker enjoying the water hose.  He
will still lay on the first step of the pool to cool off, but I no longer
allow him to swim with his brother due to him not having the strength
to swim as well as he used to.
TUCKER IN ACTION
BREAKING NEWS IN 2011
Amber was given a small spot on my last Picture and Update page of
2010 to introduce a few of her friends in Blogville.

In January of 2011 I finally gave in to her constant begging to start a
blog of her very own.

We have met many new friends in Blogville....both furry and the
people who love them.  The pets laugh together, cry together, and
come together to help each other in times of need.  The outpouring of
support is unbelievable.

Amber is a busy girl, but she does try to do at least two or three
posts to her blog every week.
Please click the picture below to visit Amber DaWeenie's blog and then
just close the blog page to return to this page.  For future reference,
there is also a link to Amber's blog at the top of our Home Page.
This year a very dear friend of mine who lives over on the west coast
of Florida has started a Pet Loss Support Group.

The group is based off the Yahoo web site.  Joining is a very easy
process.  If you already have a free Yahoo ID, you only need to join
the group.  If not, it's so easy to get a free Yahoo ID.

Click on the following link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pet_Loss_Memories

Once there, click "Join This Group" and then just log in with your
Yahoo ID to join the group.
OR
Follow the directions below the login box to register for
a FREE Yahoo ID.

This is a wonderful group to be a part of.  It is a place to share
special memories of a pet at Rainbow Bridge.  The sharing of these
memories with others is a huge part in helping with the grieving
process.

Whether you have lost a beloved pet or are just a good
listener and can offer words of encouragement to others who are
grieving, please consider joining this group.  WE REALLY NEED SOME
MORE MEMBERS TO MAKE THIS WORK.  Also, please tell your
friends about

PET LOSS MEMORIES

Become part of a wonderful, caring group!

Thank You
