This is the cabin we stayed at during our visit to the
Mountains.  It was very roomy and very
comfortable.
Getting ready to leave on our trip
Angel got a nice haircut & a ribbon for
her hair.
Max had to go back and double check to
make sure Mom packed all his stuff.
Our traveling crew found resting at the cabin very enjoyable.
(So did we)
DeeDee really found a chair by the
window comfortable.
Angel can get comfortable just about
anywhere!
April and Angel "guarding" the Hot Tub.
Amber and Max taking in all the action.
The cabin had a fenced-in backyard where the dogs could play.  I'm sure they found the steep incline
rather strange after being used to the flat lands of Florida.

April enjoyed lounging in the sunshine.
Angel, Amber, and Max preferred the bed to
the chair.
We shared the cabin with Shelly and Nick.  They brought two of their dogs
along, and it was fun for all!  Let's meet the rest of the doggie crew:
This is Sadie, the Jack Russell.  For all
those familiar with all of my dogs,
Sadie is actually the Grandmother of
my Tucker and Rusty.

This is Tyson, the Boxer.  My "kids" never
saw a dog this big before, but all went well
after the introductions.
Jeff, Nicole, and our three grandchildren, Lindsey, Cortney, and Jason, came down from Michigan to meet
us in Gatlinburg.  Lindsey and Cortney take time to "pose" for a picture with Tyson.
Many of you visited our Vacation "Current Picture" page of May 2006 that
introduced our brand new Grandson, Jason, who was born in April of 2006.

button on your browser to return to this page.  Jason is now one year old and
we had a great time seeing him again in Gatlinburg.  Here are a few pictures
from that reunion:
While in the mountains, we visited Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Grandpa took Jason on his very first
Merry-go-round ride.  After this first ride, Jason rode about five more times.

game operation.

mountain overlooking Gatlinburg
Sadly, our two days in the Smoky Mountains were over too quickly and we had to start preparing for the
12-hour drive back home.  The dogs settled in for a good night's sleep before the ride back to Florida.
Do we really have to go home so soon?????
